Bird Watching
Our ranch boarders the Pawnee National Grasslands where over 250
different species of birds live. See the McCown's Longspur,
Chestnut-collered Longspur, Burrowing Owl and Mountain Plover as well as
Swainson's Hawk & many other raptors. Birding tours are also available.
Horseback Riding
Bring your own horse and ride side by side on some our 7,000 acres of
prairie, ride on the Pawnee National Grasslands or the Pawnee Buttes.
This is also a great place to hike.
Cattle Drives
Join in our cattle drives over some of the same terrain
John Iliff, king of the Colorado cattleman in the early
1870's, grazed some of his 60,000 head of Texas Longhorn
cattle. Call for dates.

Close by attractions:
30 miles East of the ranch are the Pawnee Buttes. Listed
on the Pawnee Pioneer Byways of Colorado, the Pawnee Buttes
were called the "Rattlesnake Buttes" in James
Michener's Centennial.
18 miles East of the ranch is the Grover Depot Museum that
is on the State Registry of Historical Places. It is a two
story wooden depot built in 1888.
